FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Press-on couture, productions, and studio bookings — the practical details. Anything else: email or DM.
How does remote press-on sizing work?
You photograph each nail against a ruler or card following my short guide (sent after booking), or measure width in millimeters. From that I build a nail map, sculpt the set to your sizes, and include half-size backups for borderline nails. Fit issues are rare — and a resize is free.
What is the turnaround for a custom press-on set?
Typically 5–10 days from brief approval to shipping, depending on complexity. Rush production for shoots is possible on request — tell me your on-set date and I will confirm feasibility within one business day.
Do you ship press-on sets internationally?
Yes — sets ship worldwide with tracking, labeled per model and look, ready to apply on set. Application takes minutes and needs no nail tech on location.
Do you work on set outside the studio?
I am based in the Financial District, Manhattan, and work on set anywhere in New York City. For productions elsewhere, press-on couture ships worldwide — the set arrives ready to apply, no nail tech needed on location.
What are your on-set rates?
Session work is quoted as day or half-day rates depending on scope — number of models, looks, and usage. Press-on couture is priced per set. Send the brief and you will have a quote within one business day.
How far in advance should productions book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable for most shoots — reach out as early as you have dates. Same-week requests are sometimes possible — always worth asking.
How long do press-on sets last, and are they reusable?
Worn with proper application, a sculpted set holds comfortably through a multi-day shoot; for events, up to two weeks. Removed carefully, sets are reusable — many clients keep theirs for repeat wear.
How do I book a regular manicure at the studio?
Through the booking page — pick a service and time; the studio is in the Financial District, Manhattan. A deposit confirms the appointment.
